Event Cancellation due to Incoming Weather Conditions

The 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series Abu Dhabi has been cancelled due to incoming weather conditions

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and World Triathlon announced the cancellation of all 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series Abu Dhabi competitions, due to expected weather conditions, so as to preserve the safety of all participants and fans, which is a priority of the event organisers.

This decision comes after coordination with the Emergencies Crisis and Disaster Management center Abu Dhabi and weather forecasts of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
